A monthly auction is held at the Pinetown branch, being the last Saturday of the month. This Saturday auction co-insides with our Pinetown Month-end Auto Auction, resulting in a great mix of buyers. We feel that our customers benefit from these regular auctions with a quicker turnover of stock and we also dont lose that customer who needs an asset NOW and doesn't have to venture elsewhere and hence cutting out the dealer taking the lions share. After years of experience, we came to the conclusion, that the best way to attract private buyers to an auction was to hold the Plant and Machinery and Auto Auctions on the weekend, when individuals are free from work, and this has proved incredibly successful.
